A new book, Tales for Little Rebels, provides forty-three mostly out-of-print stories, poems, comic strips.   A Walt Kelly comic, “Who Stole the Tarts?”, is a part of this publication.  A review by Paul Buhle of this book may be read here at the MR Zine (Monthly Review Zine).

These are only two examples of many adaptations of Mother Goose stories.  At, M.A. Kruchkov has put together a list of other adaptations, including a space child’s Mother Goose, computer age e-nursery rhymes, an Alaska Mother Goose, and more.
