AIGA_RadAmericaKomiksUW-Madison journalism student, Amy Marek, recently posted an illuminating interview with Paul Buhle, author of Comics in Wisconsin, focusing on the impact that underground comix had in the 1960s and on the current rise in recognition of comic art.

Also, Buhle has written an article, posted at jewcy.com, on Sammy Harkham and the comic anthology, Kramer’s Ergot.   In addition, he provides an interview to Michael Dooley at aiga.org on how comics are no longer “content to stay put” in the graphic novels section of bookstores are are moving into other area, including “History, Politics, and Biography, too”.
