Author Paul Buhle visits Kenosha on Tuesday, December 1st at 7:00 p.m. at Southwest Library, 7979 38th Avenue to discuss his new book, Comics In Wisconsin“. 

American Splendor author Harvey Pekar has said, “Comics In Wisconsin recovers the history of an important center of comic art experimentation, and offers readers a four-color glimpse at the richness of a neglected political and artistic counterculture.”

Saturday Night with Mother Goosed

MG_BirdHit the town on Saturday, November 14th during Second Saturdays in the downtown/Harborside/Union Park area of Kenosha from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Mother Goosed On The Radio

bergTune in on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 to WGTD 91.1 FM’s, the Morning Show, when host Gregory Berg will welcome John Hambrock, Chet Griffith, and John Bloner, Jr., who will talk about Kenosha’s new small-press publishing venture, Southport Press, and its first publication, Mother Goosed: Twisted Rhymes for Modern Times.

The Morning Show may be heard, beginning at 8:10 a.m., on WGTD 91.1 FM.
